Acceptable Use & Lawful Purpose Policy

A field visit puts a person at someone's premises. That only works if every assignment has a legitimate business purpose, so this policy sets out what we accept, what we decline, and what we need from you.

Last updated October 2026

Assignments we accept

Work must have a lawful, documented business purpose and must relate to a relationship you already have, or are in the process of forming, with the person or premises being visited.

  • Verification of a business, address, asset, installation or premises connected to your own commercial dealings
  • Audits, surveys and compliance checks at outlets, sites and dealer premises
  • Market research fieldwork conducted to an approved methodology with informed consent
  • Collections support for cases you have authorised in writing as the lender or its appointed agency
  • Documentation, coordination and pick-up or delivery visits on your instructions

Assignments we decline

We will refuse, and will stop work on, anything in this list — regardless of the fee offered or how the request is described.

  • Surveillance, tracking or repeated observation of an individual, or anything that would amount to following or watching a person
  • Visits intended to intimidate, pressure, shame or harass anyone, or to create a presence outside a home for effect
  • Attempts to obtain documents, credentials or personal information by deception, impersonation or without the person's knowledge
  • Entry into premises without the occupier's permission, or any request to bypass a gate, lock, guard or access control
  • Repossession, seizure, removal or disabling of property, and any handling of cash not specifically authorised under a collections mandate
  • Collections contact where written authorisation is absent, has lapsed, or the case is under dispute, moratorium, insolvency or a court order restricting contact
  • Work whose purpose appears personal rather than commercial — tracing a family member, a former partner, or anyone with whom you have no business relationship
  • Anything requiring a licence, registration or professional qualification we do not hold, including structural, electrical, legal and valuation opinions

What we need from you

  • Confirmation of the business purpose of the assignment, in writing
  • Confirmation that you are entitled to hold and share the addresses and contact details you provide
  • Written authorisation before any collections visit, naming the cases covered and the period it runs for
  • Prompt notice if a case settles, is disputed, or should be withdrawn — contact stops on receipt
  • Only the data the assignment actually needs; please do not send fuller records than the scope requires

Field conduct we hold ourselves to

Field personnel carry identification, state who they represent and why they have come, and leave when asked to. They record what they observe; they do not argue, insist or escalate at the premises. Permitted photography is of the premises, asset or branding in question — not of people who have not consented.

If we have to stop

Where an assignment turns out to fall outside this policy, we will stop the affected work, tell you why, and invoice only for visits already completed. Serious or repeated breaches end the engagement. Write to [email protected] or call +91 96731 98867 (Mon–Sat, 9:00 am – 7:00 pm).
